Amateur Golf Tour
The Houston Amateur Golf Tour is a division of The Amateur Golf
Tour that was formed in North Carolina in 1995 by Tour President
Dennis McCormac. The Amateur Golf Tour provides individual
stroke play competition for men and women amateurs of all ages
with handicaps from 0 - 20.
Most tournaments are held on the weekend at some of the best
golf courses in the area of each division. The Amateur Golf Tour
has grown to over 30+ divisions nationwide. To learn more about

The Houston Amateur Golf Tour will begin its inaugural season in
2006 with a schedule of 18 regular tour events at some of the
best golf courses that Houston has to offer. Winners of their
flight will receive a coveted cut glass trophy for their mantle
or office along with prize money that is awarded in
gift
certificates. Depending on the number of participants, the top
three in each flight will be in the money. The season will be
capped off with a Houston Tour Finals that will be a two-day

The top ten points leaders in each flight from each division
will be extended an invitation to the Amateur Golf Tours Final
in Myrtle Beach, SC.
